Love this place! The staff is always knowledgeable, or at the very least willing to have an awkward conversation with you about a "doohickey" when you're really talking about a shim. No pricier than big-name competitors and sometimes they have some cool stuff that other places don't have. Particularly for anyone who lives in Brighton, it's a great place to go if you need to get some handiwork done.

My boyfriend and I went here on Sunday looking for something to cap my backdoor drain and I ended up getting my key fob fixed! When we walked in we were greeted by several people asking if we needed help. I said yes and explained the situation. One of the employees walked us back to the drain section and discussed our options. He took time to listen to us and I am showed him a picture of the drain. Just by the picture he could tell what diameter it was and that it has a PVC liner inside -which is causing problems. We found a drain cap. While my boyfriend was talking to employee I wandered around and find other stuff I needed for my house including: garbage bags, stuff to fix my floor vents, lawn bags and picked out some paint samples. The best part was I got my key fob fixed!!! My boyfriend saw the stand for the key fobs and he talked with another employee about them. The guy said he can take a look. I gave my boyfriend the fob and went to put the stuff in the car. When I came back all the guys were huddled around my dissected key fob. The dealership said it would cost $80 to replace the whole fob. The Ace Hardware employee fixed it for the price of a new battery! Ace really is the place!!! Go here if you want employees that will help you, listen to you and offer you suggestions to fix your problems.

I highly recommend! I like the small store, rather than big box, atmosphere. Sales people were very friendly and seemed knowledgable. I needed to have my sliding back door re-screened, but wasn't able to get it off the track. Two guys from the store (Neal and Rick) offered to come out right away and remove the door for me! When the screen repair was completed, they offered to come back and replace it on the track if I couldn't, which I tried but couldn't. After calling to let them know, it took a little while for them to come back, but they finally did, as promised! Amazing customer service! Thank you Neal and Rick!!

I just moved and have been back every couple of days to buy more paint and supplies, and everyone has been friendly and super helpful! I'm thrilled to have such a great local hardware store just a stone's throw away!

Great place to get your hardware needs. Store is very clean for a hardware store. The only place in town with pickling crisp. Employees are very helpful and polite, too.
